Aspley Guise & Woburn Sands Golf Club
Sector: golf course / country club
Project: new promotional image library
We were delighted to be asked to create a new flexible photography library for Aspley Guise & Woburn Sands - a long established private golf club with some beautifully established and varied holes and an impressive elevated clubhouse. The images helped personalise and modernise their library to improve marketing and communication media.
Discussing the project with the General Manager, the plan proposed was to better illustrate the human side of being part of the club rather than just the usual literal tee to green illustrative shots. Shot over two key phases in Autumn and Spring we aesthetically captured the natural variety and beauty of the changing course over the year, documenting the play and social aspects of the club including:
real-time club golfers from across the course, from various tees and greens and in between including all ages and sexes to reflect the inclusive demographic.
signature holes and fairways.
social and formal set-up of the clubhouse and team including societies and charity gatherings.
We scoped the course and planned lighting conditions to produce a framework that, without disruption to the club’s activities or setting up any posed shots, would capture real-time, authentic images of the course in action. This would enable honest and attractive marketing and promotion to future members.
